The intention of this piece is to locate the intersection of the natural and the man-made: On the left are images of a helicopter carcass-a left over from the Vietnam war, photographed at the air and sea museum (the aircraft carrier intrepid) in NYC. Intersecting at the center, and shifting to the right, the image becomes that of tree branches-photo-gram images of nature. The helicopter descends as the tree branches rise. This piece is a silent memorial to lives lost, nature destroyed, and a pause in time
